Mark Porter, a native of Laurel, is a 1997 graduate of the University of Southern Mississippi.
Upon receiving his national certification, he worked with the Atlanta Falcons for approximately four years. Porter joined the NMMC Sports Medicine staff in 2001 and provides athletic training services for Shannon High School and North Pontotoc Attendance Center.
In addition to his school responsibilities, Porter is the state and regional representative to the SEATA AT Care Program, Representative for the SEATA Ethic Committee, member of the DARE Program with North Pontotoc and Shannon Schools System and volunteers his time with the Park Gate Medical Clinic Empower Movement.
