The Class II Region 4 Girls powerlifting meet is scheduled for Friday, February 1st, 2019.
Weigh-in will begin at 2:00 p.m. and last until 3:30 p.m. The format for the flights and platform assignments will be determined once I have all of the paperwork from the participating schools.
The cost per school depends on the number of participating lifters and it is payable at weigh-in as well as in advance. MHSAA scoring rules will apply and a team trophy will be awarded to the region champion as well as certificates for 1st – 3rd place lifters in each weight class.
* Please fill out the attached form to email me a list of your lifters that include name, grade, projected weight class, and first lift. This is being done to expedite the weight in process and to inform the official in charge of the computer. This information needs to be in the computer before the meet. Please get them to me no later than Wednesday, January 25 at 5pm.
There will be a concession stand open to your team during the competition and tickets will be $5 for all parents/students. All parents must sit in the bleachers, and only 2 coaches from each school are allowed on the floor. The chairs set up on the floor are for the lifters, NOT the coaches or parents. We are also asking that each school provide 2 additional students to help with spotting and loading weights throughout the competition.
