Purvis (28-7) opened the scoring with a run in the third on a sacrifice fly by Chelsea Regan and extended the lead to 2-0 in the fourth on an RBI double by Allee Williamson. Brooxie Shepherd went 3-for-4 with a double, while Williamson added two hits and drove in a run.
Chelsea Regan (12-4) took the loss for the Tornadoes, giving up five earned runs on five hits and three walks over six innings.
