Mississippi High School Activities Association The place for high school sports in Mississippi Houston High School has an open date for Basketball on May 22, 2024. Houston High School boys and girls have multiple open dates for the 2024-25 regular season. The following dates are November 16th ( Bruce Franks Tournament) November 22nd, November 28th, November 29th, December 5th , December 6th, December 20th, and January 2nd.
