West Union Varsity Eagles stayed in it until the end, but Resurrection Catholic Varsity Eagles pulled away late in an 8-7 victory on Tuesday. The game was tied at seven with Resurrection Catholic Varsity Eagles batting in the top of the seventh when an error scored one run for Resurrection Catholic Varsity Eagles.
Cole Morris Willard collected four hits in defeat. Willard singled in the first, singled in the second, singled in the fourth, and singled in the sixth.
Resurrection Catholic Varsity Eagles got on the board in the first inning when Luke Schnoor singled on a 0-1 count, scoring one run.
