Teaching & Learning Chess course available online

The Center for Mathematics and Science Education (CMSE) at The University of Mississippi is proud to partner with Dr. Jeff Bulington from the Franklin Chess Center to offer a live virtual session, Teaching and Learning Chess Online.

Engaging students in chess has been shown to help students develop problem-solving skills, planning, focus, and self-discipline. In this session, participants will learn more about how to foster these skill in their students through chess. We will explore online tools and resources that can be used to engage students virtually. Whether you are familiar with the game or new to chess, this session will be beneficial to educators at a variety of levels.
