Mississippi High School Activities Association The place for high school sports in Mississippi 
Because of the threat of inclement weather and travel advisories, the following procedures for the basketball first round are listed below.
- All games should be played as early as weather permits
- Girls must be completed by midnight on Wednesday, Feb. 17
- Boys games must be completed by Thursday, Feb. 18
- All first round games will be assigned by the local association. Host Schools must enter these games in Dragonfly and contact your local assigner
- If schools are playing the same opponent, both boys and girls, these games can be played on the same night with admission being $10.00
- If teams are playing different opponents, these games can be played the same night, but the gym must be emptied and sanitized before the start of the next game with a separate gate being set up for each game. Admission for these games are $8.00
- Games times are flexible and set by the home team and agreed upon by the visitors. If times cannot be agreed on by the schools, game time will be 6 o’clock
- Second round begins Feb. 19 for girls Feb. 20 boys
