Because of Covid and the threat of inclement weather,the following should be noted if region Basketball tournaments are not completed:
1. All regions and classifications will advance the correct number of teams to the first round:
Class 1a – 4a will advance 4
Class 5a – 6a will advance 3
2. Tournaments must be completed before Sunday night February 14 before midnight.
3. If tournaments are not completed, the seeding will be determined by the remaining teams’ positions on the bracket and their regular-season seeding.
4. If tournament is not played, seeding will be determined by regular-season seeding
5. Games not played because of COVID are considered forfeits.
This has been approved by the Executive Committee for the 2020-21 school year
