This past Saturday, November 2, the MBA/MHSAA concluded its State Championship Marching. Classifications 3A & 4A competed at Germantown High School and classifications 1A, 2A, & 5A competed at Pearl High School. Special thanks to Mississippi Band Masters for organizing these championships along with Jeff Cannon MHSAA band event liaison. MHSAA appreciates the willingness of the host schools, Pearl and Germantown, and their band directors Matt Rowan and Justin Harvison for their assistance in working with the site coordinators. Also special thanks to head band director Matt McDonald of Northwest Rankin HS for hosting last week’s class 6A championship event.
Congratulations to all of our school’s marching bands and directors for an outstanding fall season! Special thanks and appreciation to all of our excellent directors and volunteers who hosted our MHSAA/MBA events. We thank all of our workers and volunteers who helped to make our marching band season one of the best ever!!
