MHSAA C Spire State Basketball Tournament March 1-10

The MHSAA C Spire State Basketball Tournament returns to Jackson for a 9-day run beginning Thursday, March 1.

In the fourth year of the expanded format, 48 boys teams and 48 girls teams will get an opportunity to participate in the biggest stage for Mississippi high school hoops.

The 84-game event begins with quarterfinal games Thursday morning for boys (Mississippi Coliseum) and girls (Jackson State University). Eight games per day through Saturday night will be played at each venue.

The semifinals for boys and girls team tip off Monday, March 5 at the Mississippi Coliseum with eight games per day through Wednesday, March 7.

The 12 state championship games (six boys and six girls) begin Thursday, March 8 and continue through Saturday, March 10.

Admission is $12 per day and good for all games that day at one venue (no pass outs).

The championship games will be televised live in several media markets covering Mississippi:

All semifinal and championship games will be livestreamed on the NFHS Network at www.misshsaa.tv  Quarterfinal games will not be livestreamed.
