Tupelo coach Trent Hammond says:
“Jett does a very good job of reading the play and seeing what’s happening. He doesn’t waste a lot off energy, and, as you like to see from a defensive guy, he doesn’t fall for what we call eye candy. He does a really good job of taking stuff from drills and workouts and transitioning those things in the ballgame. And Jett does the extra work, too. He’s going to be the first one to arrive and the last to leave. He just always seemed to be in the right place for our defense. When we needed to make a play at crunch time, he was the guy who would find the football.”
