MULTIPLE plans have been in development since Monday of this week.  The MHSAA, your site hosts, and the MBA Executive Board feel that this is the best plan given the circumstances.  We know these contingencies aren’t ideal for everyone, but they are the best plans to keep all participants safe while providing all bands the opportunity to receive festival ratings from the MHSAA for marching band and to qualify for marching championships for bands who have previously declared.
Thank you Mr. Ricky Neaves, Mr. Kalvin Robinson, and Mr. Jeff Cannon from the MHSAA, site hosts Dustin Thrasher, Kim Presley, Chris Sumrall, Ashley Wade, Nicole Allen, Wes Morehead, and Tamiko Bridges, and the MBA Executive Board for your time and dedication to serve all the bands in Mississippi.  Additional thanks to David and Sue Nicholson, Jay McArthur, and Matt Rowan for your guidance throughout this process.
