Stringer totaled 12 hits and had four players with multi-hit games. K. Douglas went 2-for-4 with an RBI, and J. Holifield added two hits and scored twice.
Madilyn Graham pitched a complete game for Stringer, throwing 144 pitches over seven innings. She allowed six hits and four runs (two earned) while striking out six and walking seven.
Myrtle (23-8) led 1-0 in the second inning and took a 4-2 lead in the fourth after scoring three runs on a combination of singles, walks, and fielding errors. M. Nichols went 2-for-4 with an RBI, and A. Murphy added a hit and drove in a run.
