Basketball championship games return to Coliseum

It’s Final Four time at the MHSAA Basketball Tournament.

A total of 48 teams — 24 boys and 24 girls divided among the six classes — will compete at the Mississippi Coliseum from March 1-6 with the goal of finishing their seasons with a gold ball. The “Big House” will host a total of 36 games with the first tip off set for Monday at 9 a.m.

Tickets are $12 for the semifinals Monday through Wednesday and $15 for the championship games Thursday through Saturday.

The 12 championship games, scheduled for March 4-6, also will be televised on stations around Mississippi.
