Crossroads Diamond Club All-Star Baseball Game suspended

Crossroad Diamond Club, sponsors of the annual high school baseball all-star game for the MAC, has voted to suspend the all-star event due to the coronavirus. This is only the second time in 45 years that the event has been suspended.

Even though the club is unable to hold the event, they are investigating the possibility of sponsoring a Senior Workout and final game that will be played for college scouts. A decision about this Senior Workout event will be made on May 4, 2020.

All public school baseball seniors interested in playing should contact their high school coaches who will be receiving an email asking who is interested in this special event.

The Crossroad Diamond Club will be monitoring the situation and considering what is best based on the guidelines set forth by our elected officials as to when players and fans can gather again. The club knows that this has been and will be a difficult time for all seniors who were not able to complete their high school baseball experience and is are working hard to find a way to have one last game.
