2020 MHSAA Soccer Championships Feb. 8

Eight MHSAA State Champions will be determined this weekend at the Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi Soccer Classic.

The final matches return to Brandon High School and Ridgeland High School for the third straight season. The Lafayette girls, West Lauderdale girls, Sacred Heart boys and Sacred Heart girls are seeking to defend their titles from 2019.

Saturday’s schedule:


At Brandon High School

12:00 PM — Class 4A Girls: West Lauderdale vs. Florence

2:00 PM —  Class 4A Boys: Newton County vs. St. Stanislaus

4:00 PM — Class 5A Girls: Lafayette vs. East Central

6:00 PM — Class 5A Boys: Center Hill vs. Long Beach


At Ridgeland High School

Class 3A/2A/1A Girls: St. Andrew’s vs. Sacred Heart

Class 3A/2A/1A Boys: St. Andrew’s vs. Sacred Heart

Class 6A Girls: Clinton vs. Gulfport

Class 6A Boys: Madison Central vs. Ocean Springs

 

Tickets are $10 and are good for all four games at that particular venue. The South winners are the designated home teams for 2020.

The 2019-20 MHSAA Soccer Championships will be held at two locations on Saturday, February 8, 2020.
