MHSAA Powerlifting championships set for Saturday in Jackson

The 27th annual MHSAA State Powerlifting Championships return to the Mississippi Coliseum this weekend April 13th and 14th.

Friday’s schedule includes the weigh-in from 4 to 7 p.m. The awards ceremony for North State and South State competition as well as other special recognition begins at 7:05 p.m.

Saturday’s schedule begins with the opening ceremony at 8 a.m. The awards ceremony for Session I (Boys: 114 to 181-pound classes/Girls: 97 to 148-pound classes) is scheduled for 1:30 p.m. The awards ceremony for Session II (Boys: 198 pounds to Super Heavyweight class/Girls: 165 pounds to Super Heavyweight class) is scheduled for 8 p.m.

Saturday’s admission is $10.
