Choral directory conduct 2019 winter meeting

MHSAA held the annual Winter Choral Directors Meeting last Saturday January 12 at the office in Clinton. Representatives from junior and senior high schools were present. The upcoming State Performance Assessments were discussed. Guidelines for SPA ensemble, repertoire, and reading procedures were reviewed. Information was also provided on the Choral Arts Festival and the MMEA/ACDA Convention both to be held in March. New business reviewed included the Lakeshore Choral Camp, updates on the mentor program, and information regarding National Board certification.
