Slow-Pitch State Championships set for Saturday in Ridgeland

The MHSAA C Spire Fast-Pitch Softball State Championships return to Freedom Ridge Park in Ridgeland on Saturday.

The 31^st annual tournament includes the second year of the current alignment: Class III (6A/5A); Class II (4A/3A); Class I (2A/1A). Championship series remain in a best-of-three game format. Neshoba Central (Class III) and Newton County (Class II) are defending champions.
