2018 Region Basketball Tournament Information

Sites and alternate sites will be determined by District Secretaries.
Game officials will be assigned in the Arbiter. The official scorekeeper must wear an official’s shirt. Twenty girls and twenty boys constitute a team.

  1. No district passes will be recognized. ONLY State Passes will be honored.

  2. Press representatives with press identification cards, radio broadcast crew if games are being broadcast, and law enforcement officials in uniform and other on duty officers, and cheerleaders in uniform are entitled to admission to

    all
    games played during the tournaments.

  3. Each participating school will furnish their own towels.

  4. The decisions of the game officials are final.

  5. All coaches, players and fans are expected to observe all rules of the game and of the MHSAA. Each coach will report to the manager of the tournament when his team arrives.

  6. The tournament manager will make a financial report to the MHSAA and to the participating schools immediately following the close of the tournament. Include the names of the first, second and third place teams.

  7. Have sufficient law enforcement officials on duty at every session.

  8. The MHSAA will not accept personal checks for the purchase of tickets.
