ATLANTA, GA (December 1, 2017) — The NFHS Network will begin its live streaming of 20 regular-season high school basketball games on Facebook Watch next week with two games involving teams from South Carolina and Georgia.

Spartanburg (South Carolina) Day High School, featuring senior forward Zion Williamson, will meet Dorman High School (Roebuck, South Carolina), the defending South Carolina High School League Class 4A champion, on Tuesday, December 5.

Two perennially strong teams from Georgia will be involved in the other Facebook Watch game next week when Westlake High School of Atlanta faces Wheeler High School of Marietta on Friday, December 8.

The two games next week are part of an agreement between the NFHS Network and Facebook to provide live streaming of 20 regular-season high school basketball games on Facebook Watch. The lineup of future games with dates and times will be available on the NFHS Network website (www.NFHSNetwork.com) in the near future.

The NFHS Network and Facebook began live streaming of high school football playoff games on Facebook Watch last weekend and generated 834,000 video views from the five games. Six state high school football playoff games on the NFHS Network, including one state championship, will be streamed live on Facebook Watch this weekend.

“As football winds down, we are excited to be able to offer high school basketball games from the NFHS Network on Facebook Watch,” said Mark Koski, CEO of the NFHS Network. “In this 20-game package, we are hoping to showcase teams and individuals from all parts of the country and provide more individuals the opportunity to witness the excitement of high school basketball.”

The 20 regular-season basketball games on Facebook Watch will be available for free on the NFHS Network.
