NFHS makes changes to APEDS course

The NFHS has requested that we post the following statement in connection with it’s online Learning Center.
Dear Customer:
You may have taken our online course or seen our video trailer pertaining to appearance and performance-enhancing drugs and substances (APEDS).
As we initially produced them, such materials contained photographs of several students. The depictions were intended to show students who were competing “the right way.”
The use of pictures was certainly not meant to imply that any particular student was using APEDs, that APEDS have been used in any specific school district, or that any school district has condoned the use of APEDS in its athletic programs.
In order to eliminate the possibility of such implication, we have reworked the course and the trailer by removing all pictures of identifiable students.
Thank you for your interest in the NFHS Learning Center.
