TUPELO — The Tupelo boys, Madison Central girls and St. Joseph girls successfully defended their titles October 29th at the MHSAA/Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi swim championships at the Tupelo Aquatic Center.
In Class II boys, Tupelo scored 128 points to win a 10th consecutive championship. Oak Grove (75) and Clinton (54) rounded out the top three.
In Class II girls, Madison Central finished with 159 points for a fourth championship in a row. Tupelo (84) and Northwest Rankin (61) completed the top three.
In Class I boys, St. Stanislaus tallied 105 points to dethrone two-time defending champion St. Andrew’s for the school’s first swim title. St. Andrew’s (92) and Cleveland (89) rounded out the top three.
In Class I girls, St. Joseph won its third consecutive championship with 140 points. St. Andrew’s (81) and Vancleave (57) completed the top three.
