Proctor inducted into National Hall of Fame

Dr. Ennis Proctor, retired Executive Director of the Mississippi High School Activities Association, was inducted into the National High School Hall of Fame during the annual summer meeting of the National Federation of State High School Associations on July 2.

A high school football standout in Miami and successful football coach at Raymond and Wingfield high schools, Dr. Proctor served as principal of Forest Hill High School before taking over at the MHSAA in 1991. He retired in 2011, one year after serving as President of the NFHS and capping a 47-year career in education.
