Please email your district results to Tommy Brewer (Gautier Golf Coach) and Brett Merrill (Pascagoula Golf Coach) at the conclusion of your district tournament. Along with the results please attach Coaches’ email and cell number for all qualifiers. We will have a group text and group email for communication.
Fees:
The fee will be $120 per player (5 player team = $600) (6 player team = $720). The fee includes tournament rounds, Range balls before rounds, 1 cart for 1 coach, and lunch provided both days for players and coaches. Checks should be made payable to Shell Landing Golf Club.
Practice Round:
We ask that local or nearby schools call Shell Landing for a practice tee time before Sunday, May1. All out of town (more than an hour drive) teams can call ASAP to set a tee time for Sunday, May1. Cart fee for practice round is $25. Sunday is a very busy day at Shell Landing so tee times fill up very quickly.
Carts:
Spectator carts will be available the day of the event. Carts will be first come first serve. No reservations will be made for carts. Fee: $35
Tournament Info:
Monday, May 2, 2022 5A teams and Individuals will begin play at 7:45am. 6A teams and individuals will begin approximately at 11:30 am. Tuesday 6A teams will play early and 5A teams will play later. We will use split tees off Hole 1 and Hole 10 on both days. Pairings for Monday will be based on District scores and pairings for Tuesday will be adjusted according to Monday scores. The yardage for both days will be approximately 6500. The gold tees measure approximately 6500 for a reference. A coaches meeting will be held Sunday at 4:00 pm at Shell Landing. We will discuss tee times, pairings and local ground rules.
