MHSAA Postseason Broadcast Guidelines For All Playoff and State Championship games

PER GAME FEES (FOOTBALL)

Live Television: Must contact MHSAA for permission and rights fees at least 48 hours before kickoff (see below for contact information). Not permitted at Gridiron Classic State Championship games on December 3 and 4 at Mississippi Veterans Memorial Stadium.

Live Video on Internet/Webstreaming: $750.00 (All Classifications). Must contact MHSAA for permission at least 48 hours before kickoff (see below for contact information). Not permitted at Gridiron Classic State Championship games. Note: All postseason streaming fees are waived for NFHS Network member schools. Visit www.nfhsnetwork.com/sbp for more info.

Delayed Video on Television or Internet: $300.00 (All Classifications). Must be delayed at least 12 hours after kickoff. Must contact MHSAA for permission at least 48 hours before kickoff. Not permitted at Gridiron Classic State Championship games.

Live Audio on Radio or Internet:        $125.00 (Class 6A/5A)

$100.00 (Class 4A/3A)

$  75.00 (Class 2A/1A)

 

Delayed Audio on Radio or Internet: $50.00 (All Classifications). Must be delayed at least 12 hours after kickoff.

PER MATCH FEES (VOLLEYBALL)

Live Video on Internet/Webstreaming: $125.00 (All Classifications). Must contact MHSAA for permission at least 48 hours before match (see below for contact information). Not permitted at State Championship matches on October 24. Note: All postseason streaming fees are waived for NFHS Network member schools. Visit nfhsnetwork.com/sbp for more info.

Live or Delayed Audio on Radio or Internet: $50.00 (All Classifications)

PAYMENT INFORMATION (FOOTBALL and VOLLEYBALL)

Payments: Due before the start of each event.

For State Championship Games/Matches (radio only): Make check payable to MHSAA.

For all other MHSAA Playoff games: Make check payable to host school and present to Principal or Athletic Director

Important Note: Anyone planning to broadcast or webstream an MHSAA postseason event should make arrangements with the host school’s Athletic Director or Principal at least 72 hours before the start of the event. Please take into account all recommendations, guidelines and policies for Covid-19 put in place by the host school.
