Eight MHSAA teams were crowned state champions February 8th in the Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Mississippi Soccer Classic.
- In Class 3A/2A/1A girls at Ridgeland, St. Andrew’s defeated four-time defending champion Sacred Heart 3-1 for a third state title and first since 2009
- In Class 3A/2A/1A boys at Ridgeland, Sacred Heart defeated St. Andrew’s 3-2 in overtime for its fourth state championship and fourth since 2012
- In Class 4A girls at Brandon, West Lauderdale defeated Florence 5-0 for its second consecutive state championship and fourth since 2016
- In Class 4A boys at Brandon, St. Stanislaus defeated Newton County 4-1 for 10th state championship and fifth since 2014
- In Class 5A girls at Brandon, Lafayette defeated East Central 2-1 for its second consecutive state championship and third since 2015
- In Class 5A boys at Brandon, Center Hill defeated Long Beach 2-1 for its first state championship
- In Class 6A girls at Ridgeland, Gulfport defeated Clinton 3-1 for its second state championship and first since 2008
- In Class 6A boys at Ridgeland, Ocean Springs defeated Madison Central 2-0 for its second state championship and first since 2011
