NCAA Initial Eligibility
For students entering any NCAA Division 1 college or university on or after August 1, 2005, their NCAA initial eligibility will be evaluated using a new rule that increases the number of core courses to 14. For students entering a university on or after August 1, 2008, their initial eligibility will be evaluated under the 16 core course rule. (2004-2005 ninth grade)
